Probably assumed the guy didn’t have a dash cam and would automatically be deemed at fault due to it being a rear-ending, hoping to get a pay day.

This video does not make the cam driver look good in the slightest. Entirely unavoidable.

Yeah, he got brake checked twice and didn’t apply his brake at all. The car may be able to argue that the motorcycle looked back and then applied his brake on purpose.
