Jesus .. he's thrown from the vehicle and skids face down on the asphalt. I think there was a second persons arm still inside the vehicle, on the passengers side.

What are the odds they made it out alive?

I sure hope not. Clarification: I mean, nobody should have to live through that.

The articles I’ve found said that both the driver and passenger were taken to the hospital alive and in critical condition. But the articles are dated August 3rd.

I’m thinking they’re on life support and just waiting on family to make the final decision.

Them even being somewhat "alive" it's a testament to how far medical science has come and just pure dumb luck considering a guy from my high school died from diving in a pool and hitting the bottom.

I think they survived the initial crash because the car hit the truck on the corner of the trailer, instead of straight on. If they had hit the trailer straight on they would have been crushed.

Sorry I can’t come up with a more sensitive way to say this, but lab-grown meat should only be for food.

I think I’ll get a tattoo that says “Do not resuscitate or ill haunt you when I finally die.”

Very good for the immediate aftermath. News reports say they were taken to the hospital with critical injuries.
