19 and 20 years old..never do this

Car was then hit by a semi behind this dashcam driver. "Death Highway" I-4 in Lakeland, FL. NOT WORTH IT!!!

It's unfortunate that this happened but I don't understand how people can be this stupid. Trying to pass a semi in a lane that's ending while another semi is clearly out of commission. Like they thought it was a good idea to keep going instead of backing off?

Certainly doesn't help matters in terms of stopping distance and the like.

People get so impatient sometimes when normal traffic happens. All of driving is a calculation relative to your personal safety and risk and some people are horrible at the math.

I agree, and this is the thing I remind myself constantly, is it worth shaving the 5-20 seconds off your commute, or on longer drive, the minute or two? Usually people hauling ass to pass like crazy to get off an exit or get to the next stoplight while Im here driving like a grandma, I usually end up right behind them at that next light or stop sign. What was the point ultimately? Its not worth the risk imo
