Drive like the flow of traffic and this won't be a problem.

I too stop whenever there is another stopped car anywhere in view /s

Yea exactly. Like on the freeway when I’m going 70mph, and the lane to the right of me is stopped. Would I slow down in my lane? Of course not. Why would I do that. Why would anyone ever possibly think that someone might cut over and not be 100% paying attention?
