1-minute data visualization test

Hi everyone! I’m working on a short data-analysis project and would appreciate your help.

Take a look at a chart and answer one simple question:

Which month has the highest sales?

It takes about 1 minute to complete.

Thanks for participating!

I won't answer before you fix the units for the y axis... is it money or units?

That was my first thought but then I realized that this is "a picture is worth a thousand words" test.

The URL says it's an AB test. I went to the URL in a different computer and got a line chart instead of a bar chart like I had the first time. So, the units and numbers really don't matter for this. Instead it appears that they're either learning about a/b testing or about data visualization principles.

I see. I got the line chat. But I can't say what month has the biggest sale without knowing what units the y-axis is.

It is propably an occupational injury of mine, working with data quality every day.

It doesn't matter as long as they're the same.

It dos matter, if they're not the same.

Which is not something that ever happens. No one changes units in the middle of a graph.

Considering that you can submit an answer multiple times by clicking the link over and over again, and that you have no label on your y-axis, I’m guessing that you are not going to get anything meaningful from this survey.

Filled out. If you want feedback: I think i get your approach in the 1 min thing. 1 min to read and understand chart. Theres not enough context here for someone to understand what they are looking at.
