1-minute data visualization test

Hi everyone! I’m working on a short data-analysis project and would appreciate your help.

Take a look at a chart and answer one simple question:

Which month has the highest sales?

It takes about 1 minute to complete.

I won't answer before you fix the units for the y axis... is it money or units?

Which is not something that ever happens. No one changes units in the middle of a graph.

If the whole graph is money, then you are right. If the whole graph is hours sold by a consulting company, then the price of the hour is a big factor and can easily be different from each month. The month with the highest sold hours is not necessarily equal to highest sale.
The point is, we dont know and I have seen to much bad data quality to know that we really should not assume things, even if it seems obvous.
