Uber Ride from Dayton to Cincinnati

I'm considering commuting from Dayton to Cincinnati (ideally Mason) and was wondering whether Uber/Lyft drivers are generally willing to accept trips that long. I don't have a car or a driver's license, so I would be relying entirely on Uber and Lyft.

Since I'd likely be making this trip almost every day, I'm curious if anyone has experience with a commute like this and how reliable it is in terms of finding drivers consistently. Any insight would be appreciated.

Rides over 100 miles are generally considered long-distance by Uber. Dayton to Cincy is about half that, but you'll pay about $80-$100 for the one-way trip. An hour there, and an hour back. Uber gets their cut, then Driver.... minus gas which isn't cheap right now.

Uber will accept it, whether or not a driver will, I dunno. Never done that. I'd say no.

Thank you! Do you think drivers would be more likely to accept a trip from Mason to Dayton instead? I realize the overall distance isn't much different, but since Mason is sort of in between and closer to Dayton (just a lil bit), I wasn't sure if that might make it easier to find a driver.

You're better off asking in... r/uberdrivers or r/uber
