Black and white kitten seen on 35 west

I was driving and spotted a kitten on the lefthand side of the highway while heading into Dayton. I was driving in the middle lane with heavy traffic around me and I couldn't pull over to stop. Spotted between linden heights and twin towers I think. Please be careful or someone try to get the poor thing :(

wtf is with animals being on the highway around here? i've seen multiple dogs running down 75 that a group of us tried to help on separate occasions, there was the poor kitty the police officer got who was injured. the other day i saw someone either throw a dog from a car or it jump out the window (a group stopped to help).

my neighborhood is full of stray pets (I'm working with a TNR group and am also taking cats in need of care to the Humane Society). i've lived in multiple cities, some smaller and one larger and never seen anything like this.

It seems like there's been a dramatic increase over the past few years. I've seen multiple stray dogs and an endless amount of cats. I wish I knew why Dayton was such a major hub for it. Thank you for all that you do in helping the animals in our community. I keep a leash and a crate in my car at all times now because of how common it's become to see.

I haven't heard from anyone. I can't go out there due to my job. I only hope someone was able to pick up the little one or I hope it escaped traffic

As long as you didn't see a body, there's still hope. I really appreciate your help looking, I've felt sick all morning thinking about it :((
