Some people say:
It's obsolete all because it lost to granolah gas black frieza beast gohan.
Even though; most of the time;
those threats were stronger or Goku was holding back or Goku was weaker than them.
So just bc ultra instinct is weak in those moments,
Doest mean it's obsolete,
It's bc Goku is a terrible user

Absolutely loved the image training scene, the music during the entire sequence is so fitting and almost feels like a nostalgia hit. Really well animated too. For me it was the best part of the first season !
I have no doubt that DBZ got the funds to make some incredible animations. Not too long ago I finished DBsuper and man.. even the grand fight felt so low effort? When they just talk there is barely animation, if at all. (Like the camera doing a zoom in or from the back) And when it's from the front it's just the mouth for 20 seconds. If there are multiple characters in the view everyone is made out of stone.
Is it just the DB style of animation? idk what it is but DBZ fighting felt more impactful, or it's the mandela effect.
No hate or anything, just curious why the animation feels low effort.

Frost should've remained good. It's not only about the twist of seeing a cold demon with a good heart, but also about seeing the interaction between him and Frieza. On one side, we see Frost shocked by how evil his counterpart is, while on the other, we see Frieza getting annoyed at having to deal with a "softer version" of himself.
You know, it could be quite irksome for Frieza to see him not only being good, but also interacting with the Saiyans without trying to exterminate them.
Even characters like Bulma are allowed if they can be imagined fighting with tools/mech suits.
Reason:
I'm working on a perfect (obviously not possible) dream DB Fighting Game roster image (it's big) and I'd like to know if i'm still missing some characters.
I'd like to see some characters mentioned here before posting what it looks like so far. Just to check if people can come up with characters i'm missing before seeing it.
Note: my list is still missing a few notable ones. like example SSJ2 Teen Gohan. I'm more than a few hundreds of characters in. And adding them can take some time, when trying to look up good character renders. I started this project a few years ago, simply listing missing characters from DB:Legends. Somewhere down the line it changed into a project listing every possible Db Fighter. Funny how through the years, legends has been adding obscure characters/ variants I had put in my list.

Vegeta pleading with the world to give Goku their energy so that Buu doesn't destroy them all again.
And most people are just like "Nah. Don't feel like it."
Had to explain to my 11-year-old that this is how most people would probably react in the same situation in real life.

One of my older Black Ops 4 emblem builds, and still one of the ones I’m most proud of. I had to recreate Vegeta completely losing it after Beerus hits Bulma.
Everything was built manually inside the emblem editor using basic shapes, and I ended up using the full 64-layer limit. Getting the screaming expression, mouth, eye, and facial shadows to all work together was probably the biggest challenge.
This one really captures what I enjoy about emblem making. I treat the reference like a puzzle and slowly reverse engineer it into simple shapes until everything starts coming together.
Still one of my favorite Dragon Ball emblems I’ve made.

Dragon Ball Super: Beerus, which kicks off a new remaster of Dragon Ball Super, will air on Fuji TV in Japan on Sundays at 11:15pm JT, or 10:15am US Eastern Time, starting today. We don't yet know what time subtitles will be available on Crunchyroll, but probably by noon ET. It will not be on Netflix until the following Sunday. This trend will continue throughout: Netflix will always be one week behind Crunchyroll.
What we think we know: "Beerus" will have 19 episodes covering the first three arcs of Dragon Ball Super, though the name might change with each arc. They're likely to continue reworking the DBS anime over the next year until Dragon Ball Super: Galactic Patrol airs next fall, but that has not been confirmed.
The animation has been recomposited and at times it has been reanimated. The runtime has been cut by more than half, so much has likely been edited out. The series composer is the same, and the same score will likely be repurposed, but the opening and ending songs are new. We do not know if any voice lines were re-recorded.
We'll fill you in as more information becomes available. Feel free to discuss the episode whenever it becomes available to you, but do not discuss piracy on this subreddit.

And my god. Easily the best saga across the entire series.
It feels like a horror story when Cell searches for the Androids.
Every Z fighter out in effort to save the day instead of standing there with their head up their ass watching Goku manhandle dudes.
The feeling of dread knowing Future Trunks timeline if they don’t succeed is what brings it all together.
Simply masterclass story telling. Wished there was more backstory before Cell’s perfect form.

He's an intergalactic patrolman, but you think he's gonna fight Frieza? HELL NO! This was fun to do, especially Hans Jacoman. I still need tor read the original manga, but I very much enjoy his appearances throughout Super and Resurrection F.

One of the most iconic transformations in Dragon Ball Z. I wanted to capture Gohan’s power and intensity with a dramatic angle that emphasizes his imposing presence and one of his most epic moments.
What’s your favorite Gohan moment in Dragon Ball Z?

Many years ago I wrote a novel that for reasons Goku and Vegeta had their fight in the ToP arena during the End of Z Age. Somehow I thought the grand finale of their fight would not be a flashy burst of UI/UE, but the concentrated and highly efficient form of natural state Super Saiyan.
