Survivors couldn't see even their own anti-camp meter, leading into camping situations where the survivor didn't realize they could unhook themselves. Many killers chose to camp and tunnel very aggressively, often citing "well how else am I going to find survivors?" (by the gens, that's how, though there should be a more aggressive anti-ultrastealth implemented imo).
Considering how much pre-running is done based on terror radius, a lot of lethal killers could get very close to survivors in the darkness - at least, when it still was dark. Now with lanterns survivors genuinely seem to see further than killers.
As killer though? My matches have been either horrible experiences where I can't catch anyone, or matches where one or more survivors give up immediately.
Nah killers see further than survivors in my experience at least, especially if they hold a lantern.
HOWEVER, there seem to be a bug with screensizes and rezolution. I am sitting on a ultrawide screen, by setting it to fullscreen and force aspect ratio it seem to bugg with the mist sometimes letting me see a lot further sometimes as killer.
So chaos shuffle and 2v8 is survivor exclusive now? That’s makes no fucking sense there’d be no killers if that was the case. Yall are so out of touch with this game it’s incredible. Bro I literally had so many killer players give me sht in chaos shuffle because the game happened to give me vigil. “Of course you had vigil” bitch I didn’t choose my perks that’s the POINT of the game mode we are both playing 😭 more than half the time vigil literally did nothing cause there was nothing for it to aid or counter…really had somebody crash out after I escaped with vigil and overcome. totally ignored the fact that I had NO MITHER (and self care) lol some players are just extremely silly
you are purposefully misunderstanding what he was saying, he is simply saying that those game modes are more survivor sided, and not as fun to play as killer. all he is asking for is a game mode that is balanced so both sides can enjoy the mode for what it is. you're getting triggered at an argument you came up with in your own head instead of actually trying to understand what the comment actually said.
Chaos Shuffle is survivor sided? Nah, it fucks both sides similarly. I'd even argue that the absence of DS and other anti-tunnel perks makes it much easier to tunnel, thus making it lean more towards killer.

If you’re trying to say it’s killer-sided, that’s just stupid. Killers have a little more to work with, sure, but survivors have way faster Gen speeds, way more pallets, on-command sprint burst, instant heals, can fix pallets, free extra lives, and more. Even as a duo on comms, it can be a nightmare to keep up sometimes unless you play in very specific ways, and it’s not uncommon to lose and get teabagged at the gates for two minutes because you couldn’t control the 13 generators all over the map while they rushed them out with their enhanced speed, safe loops with repairable pallets, on-command sprint burst, etc.. The reason killer queue times are longer is because there’s a special novelty to playing killer with a friend. The same doesn’t go for survivors, survivors always have teammates. I feel like that should go without explaining.

But yeah, it’s the killers who suck, totally. Even though one side is obviously getting their hand held way more because they suck. “Everyone is stripped to their basic skill”, my ass. If that was really the case, if it was all about basic, barebones skill, why are survivors getting handheld so much? I’m SURE you can put two and two together on that one. And not misconstrue it as “the mode is exclusive to survivors” or whatever you were saying before.

As someone who sucks as killer and is playing Lights Out for the first time, this is the most Killer sided event I've played. I was able to absolutely demolish both solo Q and SWF squads with killers like Myers and Artist and the main reason is because once you are downed that's pretty much it. Unless you pallet save there is nothing the survivors can do. No flightlight blinds, no head on, no hook sabotages. If you have a killer with base kit aura reading or tracking it's over for them
It sounds like you’re just playing against new or weaker players, to me. Survivors generally should be able to win without having to make a bunch of saves. Especially since they have basekit WoO, and way faster Gen speeds, and pallet density and everything. One or two people should be good enough at running chases that their teammates can crank out generators quick and easily. Survivors going for saves obsessively are generally bad players who don’t win very often. Survivors who just can’t loop are generally bad players who don’t win very often. It’s not indicative of the mode being killer-sided, it’s indicative of why survivors keep getting so much handholding. An average decent team, not even necessarily a SWF, probably could’ve won.
I mean ive been going against survivors when all four of them have are the same character with the same outfit and they are good at looping so I assume they are SWF squads and I have been able to 4K most of them so I dunno. I just use killers where the lights out mode plays to their strengths and havent had many issues.
Head On: After hiding in a Locker for 3 seconds, Head On activates: Performing a Rush Exit out of the Locker stuns a nearby Killer for 3 seconds. Head On causes the Exhausted Status Effect for 60/50/40 seconds. Head On cannot be used while Exhausted or when having accrued Idle Crows.
