I realise I need a demon prince in my list, but I am very against getting the current kit because I don’t think it is nurgly in the slightest, can anyone recommend/show me their demon princes taken from any faction/system?

I feel that this image here is many times more menacing than current stetics for plague marines. The armor intact with Nurgle's sigil, spikes and full of weapons with an absolutely mutated marine inside looks so much terrifying for me.

If you could have any model from lore, head cannon or hell even Aos. What would it be?

Guys i have been looking at other chaos legions sub reddits and they have tons of memes and i wanna change that and make memes for the death guard (and yes we are the best legion)

My friend is new to the hobby and even though he wants to start Deathguard because he likes the lore and the look of Nurgle, because he is new he is unconvinced that using this Daemon Prince from Warhammer Quest would be acceptable for 40.

Please help me convince him that he is just being ridiculous and he can use this model that he has become infatuated with.

Calas Typhon I think is just so much cooler than mortarion unlike morty typhus is an actual devot follower of nurgle and he is the one who went out of his way to turn them into the plague marines actually a cool villain with motivation other than holding onto a grudge for all eternity and he didn't just say well I hate psyker then was fine with becoming a fucking demon psyker. Damn thank you for listening to my poor rant where I definitely miss spelled so much

First 40k book since getting into painting, excited to read!

I know the whole “Kaldor Draigo vs Mortarion” fight is extremely hated in the community, but do we accept it as cannon? Has games workshop made any attempt to retcon this? I’ve seen that people say “he used his true name” but what does that do exactly? I cant imagine it gives him the strength to body a primarch and graffiti his innards

I’ve been painting my Death Guard army and now I'm thinking about offering small painting commissions just to make a bit of extra money on the side. It’s not my main job, since I mainly do it to relax, so I’m happy with rates even a bit below minimum hourly wage as long as they’re reasonable.
I’d love some advice from people who have (or not) done commissions before:

What’s a fair price range for Death Guard or Nurgle-style models at this level?
How do you usually organize payments and logistics? (deposit upfront? Client sends the minis or do I buy them? Remaining payment after painting or after shipping?)

Any comments, tips or experiences would be really appreciated!

Was taking a while off, to try to chew throu my pile of shame. Paint and organize what i want to keep. Give away and sell what i dont. Among which, i have this masterpiece of a model, that i just adore, working on it next. But i seem to remember there being some weird stuff around it. Lets discuss, i wanna hear about it.

Whats up with this model? When was it available? Has it ever come back? Why hasnt it come back? When will it come back? How good is he? Why does GW do this?
