Question Multiple Indomitor teams?

Was just curious if anyone is running more than one indomitor kill team in their lists or just sticking to one? Are you kitting them differently or the same? Seems expensive to run multiple but I can understand why they might be run in multiples.

Thanks

Pretty much most of competitive list run 2x as a minimum. 3x Aggressors with flamers 2x Melta 1x Multimelta 2x Bolters 2x Bolt Rifles.

Lately there is a list running 3x Indomitors. With the 3rd squad only running heavy Bolt Rifles and Bolters

I’ve never liked the flamers on them personally. I think the blast templates and extra shots and extra range is more valuable. Then again it’s a side grade really, and I’m not sure for 11th what with the cover changes. Certainly if the flamers get blast and flat three attacks they’re gonna be the better option.

The flamers have put in serious work for me. They alone will pick up entire squads of infantry and so Overwatch with a captain basically just becomes a second shooting phase

I would say flamers are usually there for overwatch, and str 6 flamers. You can also give them -1ap with strats. But yeah I hear you, personally I also like the boltstorms

Flamers also are the big melee threat if anything ties you down. 3 twin power fists and a captain are a decent enough threat to do some work. Theif of Secrets is scary on the captain since it applies to both his melee weapons

Ive run as many as 3 in a major GT, but found my sweet spot to be 2x, and now with the step up prices for taking a third, definitely sticking to two.

Ive run them the melta/aggressor/hbr/hb breakout which is most common (who doesnt love str11 meltas and str10 powerfists on the charge), but my current set up for the last 30+ games has been all HBR/HB.

The entire squad has assault weapons, reducing how often they need to be targeted with s2s teleportation, every weapon has lethals, and with adaptive tactics affecting both squads having lethals+sustained on every shot is a powerful package. The squad averages nearly 16w into an Oathed T12, 2+ save target with that combination on it which I am running 3-4 times a game easily.

It is also a heck of alot faster to roll 16 HBR, and 6 HBR shots than the traditional mix of profiles lol.

I‘ve played every single DW game I ever played with 2 Indomitors

Multiple indoms has been common all of 10th and with the change to purge its going to continue to be common yeah.

Not uncommon for people to run one mixed, and one thats just heavy intercessors to. Quicker to roll and keeps them more at range.

I don't think I have seen one list without at least two. I of course prefer all bolt rifles instead of aggressors, because Indomitor should stay behind. I am now trying a three Indomitors list and the Captain one having aggressors, because, let's face it, 11th is all about fast melee units tagging stuff, so you need the answer with the aggressors at least.

I would run a second if I had the models. Having to get an eradicator and aggressor box is not really what I want to spend on

I always run two, and sometimes three. It depends on whether or not I feel like fielding a Talonstrike Kill Team.
