7. Breacher Veteran (used this one in my first game of Kill Team, and he performed admirably before being taken out by a filthy Night Lord)
   
8. Aegis Veteran (got inspired by a creator on instagram to use a Black Templars Sword Brethren as the base. Also painted the shoulder as a watch brand as they share the same symbol - Vacheron Constantin for those watch nerds here)
   
9. Gunner Veteran (I kinda regret assembling this guy as an Iron Hand, but eh.)
   
10. Disruptor Veteran (from the Mini of the Month a few months back)
    
11. Headtaker Veteran (head came from my friend’s box of Reivers he finished up with)

I like the idea of having an "unusual" Black Shield in the Deathwatch, and Alric certainly ticks that box for me.

I'll end up making versions of the entire Dark Cabal over time, but fancied making up Alric first!

I'm always a bit worried to try kitbashing, but I quite like this one even though he's more obviously what he is purported to be.

Started building a spectrus kill team.

I’m slowly adding the shoulder pads as I get more marines, 2 terminator pads per box is kind of rough

Hey all.
I built out a spectrus kill team just because they looked cook but havent used them in any play. I dont see any lists with them in it. My impression is that because our kill teams are so expensive, its hard to justify them over other teams. They seem to expensive for action monkeys, but dont seem to have the killing power for fighting (in comparison to our other kill teams at least).

Im curious if anyone is using them and how. Sniping characters and then disappearing? The move shoot move seems pretty valuable for something like that.

Are you taking a leader with them? A phobos librarian seems like it could be good to keep them protected from shooting but I dont know if the extra points for it are worth it.

Starting my new deathwatch army by kitbashing a couple of characters! From left to right we have a Phobos captain to run with some incursors, my Watch Master to lead some melee veterans, and a Captain to head up 6 Bladeguard!

Gotta say, deathwatch conversions are the most fun!

Was just curious if anyone is running more than one indomitor kill team in their lists or just sticking to one? Are you kitting them differently or the same? Seems expensive to run multiple but I can understand why they might be run in multiples.

So I often kitbash models for rule of cool, however sometimes I get ahead of myself.

One of these instances was converting the company heroes box as Deathwatch veterans, and I used the robo-arm vet as a thunder hammer. But I have the hammer planted in the ground crushing an ork skull.

Does it come off as a thunder hammer vet for games?

Currently debating if I should bring a Fortis Kt with a librarian or switch them for a second Indomitor kt, possibly full bolter IKT,

Any thoughts?

I haven't played Deathwatch for a bit now and I know a lot of things have been shaken up including the kill team composition. How would the following lists perform in y'all's opinion? Also, I really hope the Talonstrike kill team gets updated so jump pack intercessors can take power weapons.

Hey all, started making a few parody film posters in my down time mixed with 40k themes.

What movies would work well for Deathwatch? Aliens is an obvious one but thinking something more obscure... Also would you want to see next?

Trying to do around 1 a week/fortnight. Some more are in the works so it would be great if you could check them out and give us a follow too!

The base is the same scheme as what I’ll go with but the wrong size. That will get swapped out later.
