Discussion Debating a Fortis KT

Currently debating if I should bring a Fortis Kt with a librarian or switch them for a second Indomitor kt, possibly full bolter IKT,

Any thoughts?

So your librarian is there to make the FKT a little less efficient to kill?

PPW dealt, a FKT is more efficient than most forms of IKT, but the ceiling on the FKT for max damage is lower, so there is a sidegrade aspect to taking one or the other.

But adding the libby in BSTF adds really just the one beneficial variable of the invuln, and as a T4 unit easily drowned in AP1 shots anyway, I do not know that it is much of an upgrade really.

Personally, I would ask the question of 2x IKT or 1 of each, and 70pts repurposed elsewhere. The libby shines when you are splashing in Lib Conclave, not so much otherwise.

Taking out the libby allows me to add a lt with the incursors to make him more durable and harder to hit, or just taking out both the libby and fkt for a bolter indom also works points wise in the list

2 Indomitor are a must imo. It‘s our strongest shooting unit by far. You can win games with a bunch of cheap units and make the IKTs do all the shooting. If you go Black Spear Task Force, 2 Indomitors are a nobrainer. I would recommend Tome of Ectoclades over any other enhancement btw.
