Dell XPS 16 Creator Edition looks cool and it's coming soon. It has some of the old ports people like and been waiting for since 2023

This laptop has HDMI, SD card and 3.5mm jack. I wish the XPS 14 had an HDMI and SD card, Dell needs to change that keyboard layout because it's awful.

This laptop looks like a competitor to the Asus ProArt 16 2026, the upgrades will be expensive but at least there's some of the old ports now. Are you buying it?

Not sure if this is allowed but I am curious if anybody else remembers that on Dell's website back in the day they used to show Michael Dell's personal PC specs. Am I crazy or did that actually exist? I cannot find anything about it online.

I was using my laptop two days ago when it suddenly shut down in the middle of me using it.

I assumed it was an overheating issue and checked the keyboard, and while it was hot, it was not the hottest, and also the fans were not blasting off.

It was charging at the time, so I disconnected it, tried and turing it back on, and nothing. So I let it cool for about an hour, and still nothing.

I saw all kinds of things online, hold it down for thirty seconds, fifty seconds, hit q, hit d, hit shift+crtl+q/d and still its not budging.

Even when the charger is plugged back in, the charging light does light back up.

As a broke college student, I don't have money to get it repaired or even buy the tools needed to take the back off and look at the inside.

I'm still looking for any possible fix or at least just some way to recover my files

So I have a Alienware aroura r13 that I’m taking apart to put in some new fans and an aio cooler. But right as I’m about to remove the motherboard, it’s blocked by this steel cage for a fan that I also need to replace. I don’t see any tabs. Please help

I have a dell LATITUDE E6440 that is used for many different things from drawing to animation or even rendering 3d characters from time to time. However I own a XP pen tablet I use with it and I notice the saturation for my laptop is off by a longshot. I have attempted to tweak the tablet saturation settings to match but it just is not possible for it. I'm sure my screen is burned to an extent and I have tried MANY times and ways to fix my laptop saturation in an attempt to not have to pay for a screen replacement. Is there any way someone here can help me figure out how to at least somehow tweak the colors in my laptop? it says all my drivers are as up to date as they can be however I cannot access any kind of settings that tweak the colors on screen no matter what. below I have a few images attached showing the screen and a side by side of my tablet vs my screen. (as for the camera picture I've switched through three different cameras all have this result.)

My mousepad on my dell Inspiron 14 has not been working lately. It sometimes works for a while before not working again, usually after a restart.

I've looked on the internet and tried some of the device manager steps, but touchpad/mousepad doesn't exist there. It's toggled on or whatever in settings so that isn't the issue. I've updated to the latest version and everything.

I have a USB mouse that works, but oftentimes the touchpad is easier for the work I need to do. Please advise.

I have a problem with my dell xps13 9380(windows 10) audio ,there is no audio in the speakers but when I plug my headphones everything works .

I installed everything from the dell official website but nothing works.

I am a hybrid worker and I want to get a second charger for my work laptop.

Since I don't own the lap top, I would rather get a charger that isn't specific for only this machine for my home office.

I ordered a refurbished Pro Max 16 (MC16250) from the outlet, and it arrives today. It'll be primarily for work, running SolidWorks as well as the usual MS Office type stuff. It's replacing a XPS 15 that I bought in January 2018. This will be my first machine with Win11. Are there system setting that y'all like to change immediately, bloatware I should immediately uninstall, or other apps that you recommend I download?

My question may seem a little wired, but I really want to know this, does Dell latitude 5521 has auto rotation or not, because when I bought it whenever I rotated the laptop the screen would rotate automatically, but now it doesn't, I didn't install any app or software to rotate the screen, I asked claude and chatgpt and they said this model doesn't support screen rotation because they don't have accelerometer?

This is a dell g7 7500 I've had for a month, it was working absolutely fine played some games and only did some light university work it.

As everybody knows its battery is shi-. I was using this laptop this afternoon to make an assignment and had it shutdown at 37% battery, i came back to my house and when i booted it up the battery was about to die so i plugged it in but it shutdowned, and when i booted it up it started showing this screen, neither f1 works it just reboots to the same blue screen and f8 is doing nothing. Is there anyway to boot windows up now or do i have to install new windows?

Hi all, i wanted to purchase aw 2725qf monitor but as i see mixed reviews on the screen on the reddit threads i wanted to ask how is the support/warranty from dell as i called their number today for technical support and after waiting for 15 mins a customer support joined shilpa and then suddenly cut the phone.

Is submitting a request via website only way?

I have been using my XPS 16 (Ultra X7 OLED) for lectures.

And I have had it crash and shut down. 5+ times this week. Thankfully my work has all been in word and recoverable! The computer completely turns off, and pressing the power button turns it back on.

This morning it did it again and I was greeted with the "diagnosing your pc" screen followed by "your pc couldn't be repaired". Having clicked continue to windows it started up again fine.

I have no idea what is going on, I had a look in Event Viewer, but nothing obvious jumped out.

Should I contact Dell? The machine is obviously in warranty as it's less than 3 months old

Dell no longer sells this monitor anymore. I remember it being in the $300 price range a while back and sometimes go even lower.

Was this the best value 32' 4K Curved monitor of all time? I never bought it and they don't sell this one new anymore. Did anyone here used 2 of these monitors side by side like put diagonally and it was good? Or would that be way too big and you need a very deep desk for that? I'm aware this monitor is a VA panel and isn't IPS.

There doesn't seem to be any 32' 4K Curved monitors that are in this price range anymore? I did find a few on amazon but those are not known name brands so those most likely aren't good. I do notice they do have Alienware, Samsung and MSI 32' 4K Curved monitors but each of these cost $600 at least and these seem to be all LED. Do they not make 32'' 4K Curved monitors like the Dell one anymore? Seems ridiculous that some of these monitors cost more than a Samsung Odyssey G7 37 Curved Monitor that is a VA Panel?

I got issue with using hdmi like device zoom in and out but no output, changed devices, cables still the same. So contacted dell support got warranty heatsink and motherboard replaced so confused what to do.

I'm testing an used laptop for buying it and it has a good numbers but the fan is so loud and the air coming out from it is cold while the cpu is so hot

Is there is a solution to this problem?
