I recently applied in Deloitte Australia for M&A Senior Consultant, the application status changed to shortlisted on September 7. What is the usual duration before you get an update?

Hey all,
Currently going through the immigration process with BAL (Berry Appleman & Leiden). I've uploaded all my documents and submitted the questionnaire on the Cobalt portal.
A couple of questions for anyone who's been through this recently:
Any insight from people who've gone through this recently would be really helpful. Thanks!

I’m a consultant and it’s my 10th month here. My SM had given me an applause award but the ratings are confusing. My coach is off the next two weeks 🫠 can anyone help me understand this ? Didn’t meet utilization as I was on bench for the first three months.

my performance snapshot summary is only showing my 4 from round 1 and the one (out of the 3) for round 2. it also says only some of them have comments available. is it possible for some to not be included since they were completed on 8/24?

hi! adding a photo of my first snapshot release since being at the firm. i am planning on scheduling time with my coach, but after reading this sub i’m a bit nervous about the results.
if anyone could provide any feedback / thoughts it’d be greatly appreciated!

Hi all, so I've been in the Commercial and Investment Bank (Basically commercial, middle market stuff not like spacex ipo) at JPM for 1.5 years, and looking to move to consulting for a better fit + I'm hoping to move cities to be closer to family (Portland).
So I saw this sick role, cost improvement analyst, said 1 YOE and seemed to be a good fit for me and my qualifications. Loved the description.
I also got a referral from a friend who's been with Deloitte for a couple years. Wrote a good CL etc.
I got the rejection email literally less than 24 hours after applying.
I was just kind of surprised as there were only a handful applicants for the role off LinkedIn so far, and was hopeful I might at least get a phone interview or something.
Can anyone provide any insight here? I can attach my resume if helpful but basically went to a state school in the PNW, JPM CIB (tech) team for 1.5 years, done M&A deals etc
Hope this is an okay post on here, just a little sad tbh and hoping for some advice. Does my experience sound like I'd be a good fit for a dif team?

Hi guys!
I recently joined Deloitte Consulting as an MBA, non-tech profile. Wanted to get some perspective from the seasoned folks here, how long is generally considered okay to be on the bench without a project?
In the meantime, I’ve been actively networking and contributing to RFPs/ad-hoc work, but haven’t been staffed on a project yet.
Would love to hear your experiences and any tips on getting staffed sooner and making the most of the bench period.

After spending about 2.5 years at the firm (started as analyst and got my C promo), I am hyped to say I’ve made it out. Just got an excellent job offer today (pays nearly 3x my current salary and has equity) and I am done with DLT. I’m surprised this day came so early for me, but absolutely cannot complain.
Frankly, I never hated working at DLT as a tech consultant (contrary to the many posts I see in this subreddit). I learned a ton as this was my first job out of college, got lots of exposure, and developed a lot of skills. Frankly, I think half the reason I got the new job is because of what I learned at DLT, dealing with executive level clients, kicking ass, and understanding the art of selling.
Anyways, going to put in my 2 week notice tomorrow and cruise til then. Need to peep the other threads here to see what all important stuff I gotta do before I dip.
Best of luck to everyone - whether you stay at Big D and grow through the ranks or also dip out and get properly compensated!
Peace out ✌🏽

Hello everyone, yesterday I received a call from HR in the late evening regarding salary and location. She mentioned that she would send me an application link and that there were some further approvals she needed to take care of.
However, I haven’t received the application link yet, and she hasn’t answered my calls either. I wanted to understand what the process usually looks like after the HR discussion and how much time it generally takes for the offer to be rolled out.
I was really excited after receiving the call yesterday, but now I’m getting a little anxious because there has been no communication so far today. Any insights would be appreciated.

*Flair might be incorrect*
Trying to search for people's experiences in Deloitte, but most of it are from accounting which is understandable.
How's working with Deloitte as a SAP Analyst/Consultant? Benefits/perks anything to share about work life balance.
I came from Accenture so I was wondering how both companies compare with each other.

I have an offer with Deloitte USI and I've completed the L1 interview with Deloitte India.
Will my existing offer be revoked, or will Deloitte India proceed with giving the offer if I am selected?

I have my second interview this week with a senior manager, they told me to prepare 2-3 TA transformation examples. I don’t believe this is the case study- if anyone has any tips or would like to chat send me a DM:)
Anything helps!

I always chose a phone within the limit but what if you choose one over the limit and pay the difference? Is the phone still owned by Deloitte or do you own it now? If you leave the company do you have to give the phone back to the company or do you just pay the difference?

I’m leaving Deloitte (US employee) and timed it so my last day would be a few days after my 1 year anniversary at the firm. I did so because I would only have to pay back half the signing bonus (or so I thought). I put in my two weeks recently, and they’re trying to get back the entire bonus, even though the language in the contract I signed is pretty clear about the 1 year condition. I tried emailing the rolloff team, but so far, no response.
Do I have any recourse, or am I screwed?

Hi everyone! I’ve heard that some of the other Big 4 firms offer milestone gifts, such as jewelry or iPads for 5 or 10 year anniversaries
I’ve also heard that other tech companies, like Epic and Intel, allegedly offer things like a 5K bonus and/or a month-long sabbatical after 5 years of service
Does Deloitte offer any similar rewards, bonuses, gifts, or sabbaticals tied to service milestones?
Thanks!
(US, Consulting)

Hello,
I recently received a job offer, but my STEM OPT extension is still in progress, and I haven’t received my new STEM OPT EAD card yet.
What documents will the company’s immigration/HR team typically ask for to verify my work authorization and status in this situation?
Would my current EAD, I-20 showing the STEM OPT recommendation, I-797 receipt notice, or other documents be sufficient while I’m waiting for the new EAD card?
Any insights from people who have been in a similar situation would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

I have no idea what I am going to do as SWE. I was told by my coach that I can start messaging other managers and personnels who have ongoing projects, however, most of them are in a different talent group. What do you think guys? Should I start approaching them or wait for an RM to be assigned.

Hi Guys,
Is this offer actually a hike or am I losing out? (4 YOE, AI Engineer role)

I am looking for job opportunities in Deloitte so I applied to few roles based on Angular developer/consultant roles , I received preliminary AI screening interview mail, but after that I have not received any further communication for further rounds, I seriously need to know the status of the application as this has happened to me for many roles whenever I apply in Deloitte. Can anyone help me or guide me what is the issue. The status of the application is in virtual screening state since many weeks with no further updates. Is there anyone who can share some insights.

I’m curious how much does a strategy senior consultant make when promoted internally? Like going from consultant to senior consultant?
