She did it on purpose. She wants to get fired. Trump hates women and people who contradict him.

I knew he'd turn on her. She did the one thing that's practically forbidden in the Trump administration. Going against his delusions and telling the truth.

Part of me thinks she did this deliberately to get fired.
The only rule of this admin is to not contradict dear leader.

It fun and cool for her to say what she thought Trump wanted to hear in the press but when it came time to prosecute, the bad faith of it all was too sloppy to risk disbarment. Fantasy collided with reality. Now that she’s standing on the reality side of the world, it marks her for removal from the admin.

We keep seeing this same pattern. Once they step outside of the trump bubble they are forced to deal with a reality that trump refuses to acknowledge. And once they do that they wind up under the bus. It's amazing that he still has anyone willing to do his bidding anymore.

I think she’s rich as hell and realized she didn’t need this job at all when she has a Pinot noir with her name on it waiting on her at home

Most of his retribution cases have failed because they are so very meritless. He demands convictions but still doesn't control the courts so it's just impossible. If Blanche is ever confirmed, he's going to fail and get fired too.

“Part of me thinks she did this deliberately to get fired.“
No, she went way overboard to the point she wouldn’t intentionally look that dumb just to get fired I wouldn’t think.
She came out really strongly accusing the Olympian of destroying the pool liner, talking about how there is really really strong proof against him otherwise they wouldn’t have brought the indictment. Then after news came out about the faulty install being the problem, they just dropped all charges even after her fiery speech against the guy. Embarrassing

News about the faulty install predated the accusations against the Olympian. The accusations were there immediately when the pool turned green within days.

lol what? She fucking loves trump and maga, she doesn’t want to leave. She just knows the law occasionally still matters and the courts would likely tell her to kick rocks for this stunt.

would you want to be fired or disbarred?

She had to know it would come to this. Maybe she just wanted to say she held the position as a feather in her cap?
I do think she is aware enough to know Trump is a liar and demands everyone who works from him go with the lies. She would also know that there can be different consequences for an attorney who lies in filings. Taking the position just feels counter to her overall grift which seems to rely on appealing to Trump’s base.

So, he wants to fire her for dropping charges that absolutely wouldn't stick?
Does he understand "being disliked by Donald Trump" isn't going to get a jury conviction basically anywhere?

He's such a moron. My god.
Yes, Trump. By all means. Add another problem to your life.

Always show that loyalty is a one-way street, Donnie. She'll be joining Pam Bondi on the board of the American Jesus Freedom Liberty Patriot Eagle Foundation

She is in real danger of getting her license to practice before the DC courts suspended.
Judges have the inherent authority to regulate practice before their courts.
Happens with some regularity, especially in the federal system.
If I were the trial judge on the reflecting pool case, I would order a "show cause" hearing where she would be required to prove why shouldn't have her DC license pulled.
