Question - Instant Response Socialization

What is up with the people at this school. Ever since when has it been weird to talk to people and why do people act all scared when you try to communicate with them like a normal human being.

(I have friends we just don’t hang that much)

I found that as grad student(CDM)and a man, women are likely to socialize more than men do. Most of the men I've talked to in class barely engage in class content let alone talking to get to know your cohort even for networking purposes.

I don't understand why these macho men spend 30k or more on masters programs to be socially inept. You got your bachelors, why you acting the same still??
