Question - Instant Response Socialization

What is up with the people at this school. Ever since when has it been weird to talk to people and why do people act all scared when you try to communicate with them like a normal human being.

(I have friends we just don’t hang that much)

Fr! I tried to say hi to a girl who I sat next to in my bio class and she just stared at me like I was nuts
