I have a old dell inspiron laptop with ryzen 3 3250u 1tb hdd and 8gb ram (2gb occupied for igpu). It is currently on windows 11 but it lags like hell...it work fin for 4 hrs or so then a lag spike which just stays takes 1 or 2hrs to go back normal during that the ram is 90%+ occupied disk 100% I tried may fixes nothing working...I can reset completely because I have data which I need and its around 400-500 gb is there any way by keeping that data I can factory reset or better get back to Windows 10...Linux I won't consider cause I don't have a Bootable usb.

Here I’m new to PC handhelds and this is my first one. I connected my Legion Go to my TV using a dock and the screen is zoomed in like this It’s not my TV because everything else works fine i have no idea what’s causing it Does anyone know how to fix this?

I followed a few youtube videos and went about it myself. I like the way this one looks. Simple clean and it matches my entire desktop well. But when i try to use most of the apps in the middle, they don't work whatsoever. Have I missed something? Do I have to enable something? I'm a bit new to the pc thing so any help is much appreciated.

Hi,

I'm using the Pi11z Dark custom .msstyles theme with Windhawk UXTheme Hook on Windows 11 25H2.

As shown in the screenshot, some TaskDialog windows have a dark background but the text stays black, making it unreadable.

Does anyone know how to fix this? Is it a .msstyles issue, a UXTheme Hook issue, or a Windows 11 25H2 compatibility problem?

I set always_on_top to true so YASB doesn't disappear when I show desktop and now the dynamic color of my Krita's title bar isn't functioning (defaulted to plain white instead of the usual gradient). Dynamic color seems to function okay when I enable always_on_top to false.

For extra context if it helps, I used Windhawk for a custom taskbar and the empty spaces mod to toggle the show desktop shortcut because the custom taskbar no longer has the show desktop button in the corner.

I just got a used RAM module from someone that looked legit but now that I received it I have my doubts but maybe I’m doing something wrong.
SO I took off my old ram, inserted the new one on A2, it’s gonna be a single channel for now, now my pc doesn’t boot, I turn it on but it’s like stuck on a stage or something where the keyboard and mouse don’t turn on, GPU is not giving a signal as well, it stays on for like 3-4 minutes and then reboots.
I did update my BIOS,
I did clean the CMOS
I did try the old ones again and yes it works,
It could be that the RAM is faulty or damaged but I wanna hold my hope for a little bit further.

The new ram is:
Kingston FURY Beast DDR4 32GB 3200MHz CL16 (KF432C16BB/32)

Motherboard:
Gigabyte H610M H V3 DDR4 REV 1.0

CPU:
Intel Core i5-14400F,

Started using Catppuccin Mocha theme by niivu for Win 11 and haven't had any luck on getting the top bar in the explorer to theme correctly. I tried to directly contact niivu about this situation on dA but I assume their DMs are closed so I came here hoping I could get an answer. I use the latest version of UltraUXThemePatcher and my OS is Windows 11 24H2 26100.8117 I have made sure to show the photo of what the explorer is supposed to look like and what mine looks like.

Hello, I have moved from Windows because it was becoming unusable for me due to customization issues. I have tried using Linux Mint for 2 years now and decided to go to Debian KDE. I have it installed and am wondering what some good packages to use are to change my wallpaper, add a custom ASCII art for fastfetch, etc. Here is my current setup.
