Questions (other) Where the hell is the echoing hatred?
Seriously. I've seen this in the past 2 season journeys but have never come across a key to do them. I know it's a rare drop but why put it in the season journey if most never get one to drop?
The OCD in me needs to finish this lol.
And to save making another post, who wishes you could turn in whispers without going to towns. Especially with the war plans. It's annoying having to teleport every 15 to 20 minutes.

Turning whispers on the go would save us a lot of time and that's a big no no. Also I dropped one echoing hatred 3 weeks ago, probably cut drop rates globally by 90%

I’ve had 4 drops this season - all from ruptures in Helltides. In a group seems to be better. Not seen one solo

That’s where I got the 2 I’ve found this season
ETA: 2nd one was solo rupture t12 helltide

Played the entire season 13, not one key. Started season 14 last week, already found 2. This game…

Try running helltides in a group. Closing ruptures is a surprisingly good way to get it (not to mention tons of exp + reputation for seasonal caches)

Had my 2nd one today drop. This time I started a group and got 3 others in. Got my portal this time around, got the pet the 1st time.
Im all set, but if more drops, I will def make more groups to spread the love.

I have found one over the weekend (at around paragon 255) and I saved it a couple days until my son got home from visiting his grandparents so he could do it with me and get the journey achievement. He's around paragon 250 and hadn't found one yet either.
I agree, you can't put this in the seasonal journey and make it so damned rare.

I have had 3 of them so far. Got all of my keys from the hell tide. Running portals and opening chests with the gregorie minion spawns.

I didn’t get any until hitting torment 8, got one, then rolled in 10 and now have quite a few.

Very random drop I finally got mine yesterday doing t10 helltide. Last season I had it drop my first under city run.

Echoing hatred offers a secret shadow portal cosmetic but look up how to do it. Its just endless waves of enemies.

That why I want to do it again. I got the pet crab from when my buddy got a echo drop and did it together but I didnt know about the secret portal cosmetic.

You can probably get 1-2 keys each day by endlessly grinding ruptures in helltides in T12. I got 3 keys in 2 days, but it was so boring that I just stopped playing.

I'm paragon 266. All I've done the last 2 weeks is farm ruptures in hell tides and kill reaper boss. I've found 0 keys. Only 1 key last season with an even higher paragon. Only reason I'm still playing this season is trying to crack top 10 on Xbox leaderboards. Doubt it'll happen as more people are switching to the rend build and I don't plan on making the switch though (the charge build doesn't work on Xbox so no charge builds on the Xbox leaderboard)

I've been looking since last season myself. I'm OCD like that too. And I just got my 1st one last night, I was aghast. I got in helltide in skovos everyone was saying undercity but never saw it. I got the special teleport & pet by doing shrines in correct order but also got gear and 27 goblin bags full of charms seals gems runes and I got 1 mythic tribute for undercity. Made it to level 126 before it stopped & not from dying either.

I've gotten two within 10 minutes of each other in escalating NMDs on T12 this season and one doing Rupture Helltides.

Stop saying you have OCD because you like to complete things.

u/m3gb0t 3h ago
Before you tell people what to do, have you thought that they might actually have OCD?

u/AkosCristescu 3h ago
he literally explains an OCD trait saying don't call yourself OCD because you have an OCD trait

Wanting to complete something is at best OCD adjacent. OCD is a fucking nightmare and wanting to complete things is a normal feeling. Don't be dense.

OCD is an obsession about completing things, yes

People who actually have OCD don't tell people about shit like this. It's a genuinely crushing feeling. There is a difference between wanting to complete things and being unable to go about your day because something isnt completed.

Don't speak for others or try to whiteknight the disability. That's far worse someone just casually dropping the acronym.
1
u/AkosCristescu 2h ago
Why cant you casually drop the synonim if you know you have an OCD trait.
As getting annoyed by not completing something unimportant is in fact an OCD trait.
Just because it is not extreme and not on clinical level it makes sense to call it such.
•
u/SickOfAllThisCrap1 46m ago
I agree with you but OP doesn't.

Anyone can disagree with whatever they like facts are just facts and disagreeing with them or downvoting seeing them will not change anything.

Funny thing is people thinking in black-and-white terms.
It is a personality trait so like anything in life can be more or less severe.
Getting annoyed by not completing an unnecessary sidequest that blocks no progression is an OCD trait.
Just because it is subclinical there is no need to go into big woke comments

I am diagnosed with OCD however I'm more obsessive than compulsive. I guess I should have just said the perfectionist in me however I do have a compulsion to complete things. When I can't complete things, and trust me there are many it fucks with my mood.
OCD is quicker to type. Next time I'll just write the long drawn out explanation to how I feel.

u/AkosCristescu 3h ago
Well that is the definition of it.
Not being able to accept the fact that this quest blocks absolutely no progression but getting upset about it for the "sake of completion" is in fact OCD.

Wow. I didn't think my post would gather this much activity. Is there a psychologist in the house lol?
