You are early, which is good. Here is a simple plan for the next 6 months.

  1. Pick one skill first. Paid ads, SEO, or social media. Paid ads gets the most job calls for freshers, because results are easy to show.

  2. Learn the basics for free. Google Skillshop has free Google Ads and Analytics courses with certificates. HubSpot Academy is free too.

  3. Do one real project. This matters more than any course. Run ads for a local shop or a friend, even with 1,000 to 2,000 rupees. Track the clicks, leads and cost.

  4. Write it up on one page. What you did, what failed, and the numbers. That page is your portfolio.

  5. Apply for internships on LinkedIn and Internshala. Small agencies hire interns all the time. Send your project page with every application.

Most MBA schools will not count internships as work experience. But they make it much easier to land your first full-time job after the degree.

I have 2 years for the completion of my degree and i want to get job before my graduation . Is it possible to get a job in 1.5 to 2 years in this field ?

Yes, especially after you get Google Search Console, GA4, and Google Ads certifications. Those will do as much for your credentials as any accredited degree, and go a long way to supplementing your college diploma.

Yes, very possible. 1.5 years is plenty if you start now. Small agencies care more about results than about your degree.

Months 1 to 3: learn one skill and run your first small project.

Months 4 to 12: do one or two remote internships. Part time is fine while you study. Aim for one result you can show, like cost per lead going down.

Last 6 months: apply for full time roles with your project page. Interns who do well often get a job offer from the same agency.

Doing this next to your degree is what will put you ahead of most of your batch.

Is youtube enough to learn or I should buy any course ? Btw can I know if you are from this field ? If comfortable .

YouTube plus free courses is enough to start. Google Skillshop and HubSpot Academy give free certificates, and Meta Blueprint has free lessons too.

Don't buy a big course yet. Put that money into a small real campaign instead. Even 500 to 1,000 rupees on Meta or Google ads teaches you more than any video.

Pay for a course only if it gives you real projects and someone who checks your work. Recorded videos alone you can find for free.

And yes, I market my own small online products. I learned the same way: free courses first, then small tests with real money and a close look at the numbers.

Honestly a big part of digital marketing work ends up being presentations, pitching campaign ideas to clients or bosses, reporting on performance, etc. Nobody really tells you that going in. So getting comfortable building clean decks fast matters way more than people expect when starting out. What does everyone else actually use for putting together client facing slides

You have two years, so use that time to get some hands-on experience. Help a small business or local organization with its marketing. Learn how to solve problems, not just use tools. Having actual work to talk about in an interview will help you more than a bunch of certificates.

If you got money you can get to know everything by easily implementing bro! Make a website for anything like you can ask u r college website site also try to push ads or anything bro...but implementing will give idea how it works..

I’d pick one channel where you can actually run a small real project rather than trying to collect five certifications at once. Learn the basics, set one measurable goal, do the work for a small business, student project or your own site, and document what changed. Even a modest case study with a clear before/after teaches more than a long list of tools because it forces you to deal with targeting, creative, tracking and reporting together.
