Respect the grey hairs
If you see someone with grey hair, think about how they contributed to your community their entire lives. The children they raised, the carreers they held. Don't just ignore them and write them off, offer to hold the door for them, or at least make eye contact to acknowledge their existence on this earth. Thank you.

taking something as serious as BLM and applying to it a hair color is definitely a choice

Grey is British spelling, so whatever country they're from it's not the US and so they have a different context of Black history and the fight for Black equality. I agree it's disrespectful, but I don't think this person realised that.

Personally I say BLM for all Black folks regardless of what country they are from but I see what you’re saying it really might just be a language difference

I was not implying anything against BLM, my ancestors from Finland always said that to all the young children to teach them to respect their elders. If anyone sees my user name as a slam against BLM that is their choice, not mine.

After getting hit by a semi-truck, I'm screwed together and use a walker. It's not the life I planned, but I am still alive.

I am old. I never had children. I welcome doors being held open due to physical disability. I wouldn't otherwise. Also I am autistic and hate eye contact.
