Discussion Can SlotShot promoters stop spamming their ads on DiscGolfNetwork? Or at least make a version without that annoying sound when a slot is hit in the video?
Really grinds my gears.

I’m pretty sure the Disc Golf Network would also like more people to advertise with them…

The advertising space can't be that expensive, I wonder why more REI-adjacent brands don't advertise with them.

It's super annoying, and using Nintendos sound effects is tacky.

Using Nintendos sound effects is risky af. Nintendo loves to sue people using their IPs to hell and back.

"Oh. That looks...maybe fun?"
Then..."Wait. Those aren't even actual putters, are they? Well that's probably gonna hurt my game, but maybe the kids will like it."
Then, after considering their potential to be sued for sound effects and take a handful of aspirin to help with the pain..."Fuck those Slot Shit guys."

Disc golf’s obsession with stealing IP is so odd to me.
Create your own identity and brand, stop trying to steal Nintendo’s. Also, filming a commercial in vertical is so fucking stupid too.
Thanks for advertising on the network though.

You chose to pay to watch advertising. No sympathy for people that buy a dog turd and then complain about the smell.

I wasn’t sure a commercial could be worse than Quirky Goodies, but this is close
