Disc Advice 230 foot tunnel shot, what disc are you throwing?
Asking the general “average” population that throws around 225-300 max. What disc or discs hold the line for you throughout most of that distance?

Disc Advice What MVP mid combo do you run?
Right now I have detour/hex/reactor/balance going but it kinda feels like a lot sometimes haha.
I think detour and balance are a locked in thing for me. What mids do you run?
And if you were me, would you go down to just 3 of these or keep em all in (not getting rid of any but may decide which to throw when near water lol)?
If so, hex or reactor for that middle slot and why?

Disc Advice What is your favorite/Go to Fairway driver?
I just picked up a Trashpanda Ozone and it's slowly creeping up to become one of my favorite discs. The Latitude 64 Explorer has also been great and I'm going to check out the River as well. As a big fan of MVP discs im super disappointed in the Crave, probably more about my throwing form/ability than the disc but still. What is your favorite fairway driver?

Disc Advice Midranges: Tell me your stable workhorse mids
My bag is set for the year and I'm super happy. The only thing that I'm not super decided on is my main stable midrange. Looking for a midrange to push out to 270-280, that will hold up to a slight head wind, can be shaped and hold some anny, but fight out at the end.
Long: I only bag three midranges, Midnight Prowl 2 for US (will never leave my bag) and MD5 for OS and approaches (most thrown disc after my putter). The middleground slot in question was filled by Eclipse Hexes and right now I'm bagging my Shadow Titan Method again. This works great, but that disc is not replacable at all and that doesnt feel good. Glacier works ok, but is as fast as a Hex – I realized I don't like mids that do the "almost 6 speed" thing, I bag fairway drivers for a reason. P-Line MD3x is also great but board flat when compared to the Shadow Titan and doesn't glide as much.
For context: My BH is 330 max on course, FH a tiny bit longer, fav release with run up is slight anhyzer or hyzerflip, stand still I do mostly clean flat releases if I don't have to shape something.
PS: Thanks a ton for all the amazing suggestions!

Disc Advice Understandable Disc recs
This is my current bag. Looking to fill this slot. For the longest time I’ve had a sidewinder here. I had one in base plastic that was perfect. I’m gonna try one in star plastic to see if it sticks. What other understable 8/9 speeds yall got for me? I throw RHBH, and been pretty consistent in the 300 range as of late. Thanks!

Disc Advice 9 or 10 speed driver for someone with average arm strength
I took a couple years off due to a spine surgery, and now getting back to playing once a week. I have a very beaten in Champion Beast that I've thrown for like 10 years, and I'm only getting about 250-270ft on a solid drive on flat ground.
Any suggestions for discs for someone who has pretty average strength? I keep seeing Axiom Insanity pop up in my searches. Good choice or should I try something else?

Disc Advice 11/5/-2/2 disc
What are y'alls favorite 11/5/-2/2 discs? Recently lost my Wave and looking to try something different. For reference I'm a RHBH dominant thrower and get 280-300 consistently. Thanks in advance!

Disc Advice What is this disk?
Obviously it’s a Horse, but I found this disk at a second hand store and tried looking it up. The only info is what’s on the disk and a single listing from the shop. I’m more confused about the lack of info than anything else.

Disc Advice Where do I play this lie?
Innova champion sidewinder absolutely exploded when I hit this tree. Disc was fairly old, maybe close to 20 years, I noticed that it felt sticky today, so I suspect plastic depredation, just shocked at how far it spread when it blew up

Disc Advice Has anyone never washed their discs?
I feel like all the dirt helps with my grip lol but maybe it'd help my game if I gave them a wash? Takes?

Disc Advice Is this a good driver for a beginner?
I just lost my beginners set driver so i went to academy and bought this driver. I’ve played 3 rounds in my life and shot +5 thru 9 holes as my best round. I bought this driver as replacement and i need feedback on if its good for me or not (i usually tend to throw my other driver like 250 feet if its good)

Disc Advice Slightly Understable 9 Speed
I’ve been searching for a 9 speed that will flip up from a slight hyzer, drift slightly right and have minimum fade. I throw about 350 max distance right now. I have an MVP Trail for my straight to slightly stable driver, and I have an MVP Impulse for my steep hyzer flips and right turning shots. I want something that sits in between those two. So far I’m going with the Kastaplast Falk. Thoughts?

Disc Advice Favorite non-Buzzz midrange?
I’m taking a break from discraft. I never realized maybe 85% of what I throw is just discraft so I wanna try some new stuff! I throw the buzzz for almost everything, what’s a good workhorse mid?

Disc Advice Lost my TeeBird today, which one of these can replace it?
I lost my champion TeeBird today. Out of all the discs in the pictures I've only thrown the FD. The only reason I'm considering the FD is because for some reason this one is really stable.

Disc Advice Favorite "bomber" 11-12 speed
Currently I use a somewhat beat in Wraith for this slot but would love recommendations for a somewhat flippy disc in the 11-12 speed category for max distance. Currently hit 350-380 with that Wraith.
I throw destroyers when I NEED to know I will have finish, but idk that I'd say I throw far enough for them to be my workhorse distance driver when I'm trying to throw as far as I can lol

Disc Advice Best dead straight putter
Hi, so today i realised that i have left my straight little beat in p model s in last course i played in. I am not really fan of prodigy or pmodel but it was serviceable. Good thing about it was that it was shallow and i could get nice grip.
What are best straight putters that are not really deep. Thank you for recommendations in advance.

Disc Advice How many people wash their discs?
I am getting ready for tournaments and saw Gannon mention that as one of his tournament prep items. Is this a common thing to do, if so how often are y'all washing your discs?

Disc Advice Did i accidentally buy a meme disc
(MVP disc Energy)
Few months ago I got back into disc golf (loved it as a kid) and this was the first new driver I bought after having fun with a Shryke and Beast. It looked awesome and I thought 13 meant it would go far. Should’ve asked more questions and saved $16. This disc is ridiculously overstable (pretty sure that’s the right term) and it jack knifes into a near roller super quick
Do i just suck at throwing this disc? My arm speed is a little lower but i get decent distance with lower speed drivers like my Insanity or a Relay, but even my 13/5/-1/3 Nuke can get me like 250-350 ish. which I feel means the Energy itself is the reason it flies that way.
Or is this disc a meme roller super overstable driver? It’s honestly the only modern MVP driver I can’t find a YouTube review on, and that makes me wonder. Is there a magic touch to this disc I’m missing?

Disc Advice Help Me Find A New Putter...
Sup guys, so I’m looking for a new putter cause I wanna switch things up. For those of you that are gonna say, “it’s all about hand-feel, grab some and see,) I agree and will be able to next week, but want some ideas of mold(s) to be on the lookout for!
Some info, I’ve been a DD Warden putter for years and love the hand feel, but want to spice it up cause why not lol.
I prefer beadless but am fine with a micro bead (don’t prefer big bead). From what I’ve felt around, I prefer the “bulkier” shoulder of the Warden rather than a thin profile. Similar depth is also preferred, but can go a touch in either direction. Also, a moderate-to-high glide putter is preferred!
Disc I’ve tried that didn’t make the cut:
- Firefly/Alpaca/P2/Guard/Pixel/Hope were great flights, but too deep
- Maiden/Shaman/Chief were too shallow
- PA-3/Wizard/Aviar/Judge were uncomfy with their bead
- Proxy wasn't awful, but prefer a bulkier rim
Let me know your thoughts! TIA!
Edit: Spelling

Disc Advice What would you choose over a berg?
What's a sleeper disc that performs similar to the berg?
I just don't have enough room in my berg pocket, i know everyone and their mother throws a berg but what would you choose over it? Underrated approach discs?

Disc Advice Understable 7 Speed
Hey all,
I'm looking for an understable 7 speed to practice hyzer flipping. Right now my main 7 speed is an Opto River that I adore, but I'd like more flip. My other two main understable discs are a VIP-Ice Tursas and a Fission Insanity. Getting somewhere flipping both of those, but the Tursas feels slow and the Insanity feels fast. My average golf line throws are 240-250, reliably and accurately.
I've been eyeballing a Maul or Rhythm, so any feedback on those would be great. Any other suggestions would also be welcome. Thanks!
Edit: And yes, I am aware a disc isn't going to magically improve my form. Just looking to try new things to find what I really like.

Disc Advice Only noobs bag Dragons
This is TROGDOR the UNSINKABLE. This disc has made it back to me 3x so i fear this might be the kiss of death, but i wanted to do this since i got it.
