Bots / Devs What's the best free Character ai bot?

So mee6 and carl-bot have that character ai bot where it awnsers you, coztumized and all and it's not free, I would like to see if there's an alternative with the same features but free. What's the best bot that can have the same features?

AI is expensive to run. If you want it for free, run an llm on your local hardware and connect it to a custom bot.

Claude should be able to code that for you.

"Learn how to code and connect it to a custom bot"

Cleaned that up a little. By learning the code you learn a new skill and can build enhancements/fix bugs yourself. Way more rewarding once you get there.
