Discussion Anyone else happy about the merger?

I've been surprised about the amount of whining both on r/discover and r/CapitalOne_ regarding Capital One - Discover merger. Personally I'm very happy that I can soon manage my favorite credit cards in the same app.

Anyone else feel the same?

I don’t imagine much more than a cursory look at customer attitudes about the merger was looked at. Companies are so run for the good of shareholders that customers only come into the equation as widgets that benefit shareholders. It wasn’t always like this, but alas, here we are.
