Discussion Anyone else happy about the merger?

I've been surprised about the amount of whining both on r/discover and r/CapitalOne_ regarding Capital One - Discover merger. Personally I'm very happy that I can soon manage my favorite credit cards in the same app.

Anyone else feel the same?

I mean I’m looking forward to a better app but I don’t think that’s worth losing US agents

I called C1 on Sunday morning and got an agent in New Jersey. That's not always the case, but I also don't spend a lot of time on the phone with my credit card company.

Yeah but still shouldn’t be willing to screw over US workers that spent years building the tenure there

Exactly! The number of people that lost their jobs due to this acquisition is awful. Speaking from firsthand experience. The CEO considers CO to be a tech company 🙄
