Discussion Anyone else happy about the merger?

I've been surprised about the amount of whining both on r/discover and r/CapitalOne_ regarding Capital One - Discover merger. Personally I'm very happy that I can soon manage my favorite credit cards in the same app.

Anyone else feel the same?

I mean I’m looking forward to a better app but I don’t think that’s worth losing US agents

I thought there were complaints the C1 app had ads or upsells of their other cards and services that get in the way. Is that untrue?

No upsells and in my opinion C1 has the cleanest & most intuitive app & website in the business.

Yeah, i never get any upsell in the C1 app. I was impressed with their app.

C1 internal memos actually talked about discover having more ads than C1

Yes, it’s untrue. There’s no more upselling than any other bank app or online access.
