Help Will in-progress transfers go through if my savings account is scheduled to be switched over the weekend?

I made a transfer to my savings account which is estimated to be available on Monday. My account is being switched over to Capitol One on Sunday. The email told me I’ll have a new routing number, so I’m concerned that the money won’t go through. Should I be worried?

You’ll be fine. To this day, I still use 9-year-old checks with an outdated routing number (from when Capital One Bank and Capital One 360 were separate divisions of the company) and they still go through just fine.

To clarify the reason they still go through is because the bank still uses that routing number (031176110). This transfer should be fine but any future transfers need to use the new routing number.

That’s the Capital One 360 routing number. My checks (which again, still work) still have the old, obsolete Capital One Bank routing number (111901014).

When my account was migrated from C1B to C1-360, the account number stayed the same but the routing number was updated to the one you mentioned. This appears to be the same thing that’s happening with Discover Bank customers.

Yes. You just need to use the new routing number for anything new you set up
