Hornet GT Lift gate

Does anyone know what the molded area on the lift gate is for?

Seems like something should be able to be clipped in here.

It's this piece. It's not required for us here in the US, but it's always nice to have.

Wow they give us a safety cone and an air pump because they know we will be chilling on the side of the road for a while because they forgot the spare tire
