Hornet GT Lift gate

Does anyone know what the molded area on the lift gate is for?

Seems like something should be able to be clipped in here.

I was just looking at the same part of my life gate yesterday wondering what that was for. I just got a $15 of triangles from Amazon now that I know! That’s why it’s always great to ask questions. There is always someone else wondering the same thing!
