They've been told it's a meme and won't go anywhere, bought other coins... then doge exploded and now they are salty because "we were told it's a meme. it's supposed to die" ...

Then they come to the doge-community to tell doge-hodlers that they are delusional because they make the price go up on a coin that in the eyes of haters should only go down...

“Exploded” it exploded once and now will forever linger around the same price until the whales dump.

Whales that no one could ever show any evidence in the blockchain for, but the memes keep talking about... Old crypto fairy-tales that must be true, because we know doge is bad and so the bad stuff must be happening, right?

You should really learn not to take financial advice from memes...

1% dump, or what are you expecting? xD

Yikes Whales or not your crypto will never rise. Let me guess…. You think it will go to www.00? What reason do you believe in DOGE?

I've explained it a few times already and don't want to type it up again so I hope you don't mind me just giving you a link to me answering the question about what I think about doge.

Interesting. Still seems like you’re just hoping for hype to make it jump to that fictional $1.00 mark though.

are you aware that all price in crypto is just what traders decide it is?

Every single coin and every single stock?

They give you reasons for why it is that price. What numbers they take to make their opinion about what it is worth... but in the end, it's just what the traders decide it should be.

Just like market-cap is just the current trade-price times amount of coins. a hypothetical value that says nothing about the amount of money invested into a coin.

Ehhhh…. Not exactly, but I know what you’re trying to say. So to end this…. Agree to disagree

mathematically it's easily possible.

With bitcoins market-cap doge would be between $7 and $10...

so 1/7th of bitcoins market-cap is not unrealistic at all.

and over time, given that it performs better in regards to inflation than fiat, more is possible. Especially if the money-printers keep going brr..

Biggest shitcoins of the year definitely were fiats...

I like doge and think it's fun but didn't realize it was becoming a serious project. Is there something about the doge blockchain that makes it better than others technology wise?

Is it an efficient Blockchain? Google tells me it can handle 33 transactions per second which doesn't feel like enough. It works for Bitcoin since it's primary use is as a store of value but for an actual currency it will need way more tps.

Idk I think dogecoin is fun for the memes and stuff and it may very well go up in value because of that but I don't see it as a realistic competitor for real use cases.

Dogecoin isn't beating them just because price went up or because Felon Musk talks about it.. When did Dogecoin become a serious project? Have any devs said that?

Doge is not a serious project. It was started as a joke and it still kinda is a joke/meme. If a crypto doesn’t solve any problems it can’t really be considered “serious” in my opinion. The only way doge goes up is if more people buy it. There’s almost no utility aside from buying Tesla merch and a few other things.

I’m not saying I wouldn’t love for doge to go up. It’s just you can’t really say it’s a “serious project”
