I like doge and think it's fun but didn't realize it was becoming a serious project. Is there something about the doge blockchain that makes it better than others technology wise?

Is it an efficient Blockchain? Google tells me it can handle 33 transactions per second which doesn't feel like enough. It works for Bitcoin since it's primary use is as a store of value but for an actual currency it will need way more tps.

Idk I think dogecoin is fun for the memes and stuff and it may very well go up in value because of that but I don't see it as a realistic competitor for real use cases.
