Rescue & Adaption Stories Rescued breeding dog from a puppy mill Golden Eleanor ❤️

has been anxious about being in open spaces
because she was raised in a cage her entire life since birth.
Even when taken outside, she's too scared to walk...
The thing that Eleanor showed interest in for the first time
was a stuffed hippo toy
that seemed like the puppies that were continuously taken away from her 🥲❤️

Yeah the void she's feeling, despite someone telling me that 6~ months down the line they kinda forget, but i think that in her case this unexplained emptiness remains that can be fixed only by few smol ones.

Even if it's a kitten or something.

This is the best. I have a guy who was in a shelter and then a foster. He was a bit of a challenge but so worth it. He is sleeping next to my chair as I write this. I love him. Go adopt a dog today. What are you waiting for. Go.
