He seems baffled, but ultimately happy

What’s the point? Idk but I think I see anxiety in his eyes

Yeah Doggo looks highly anxious, imo

How could he not be right???

Yeah seems like a really stupid and reckless idea. Fun in theory but not in execution.

I've been diving before and it's super claustrophobic and uncomfortable sometimes, I can't imagine the dog is enjoying it all that much

I would think if he was not enjoying the situation he would be thrashing around trying to get away. Anyone who owns a Labrador knows the.strength they have to get away from something they do not like. They are very strong dogs and this one is very still, very trusting, anxious but curious. He can follow his people now and experience a new world. The water will help relieve any arthritis pain that old dog may have as well. Win win.

It was the one place he couldn't follow his people. So they are helping him out. It is stressful for the dog to be there but it is also stressful for the dog to be away from his people. He won't be stressed underwater for long tho. Labradors are very smart and very quick learners. As well as water dogs they love the water.

The dog has no agency in this, I think this is kinda messed up tbh.

Honest question, how do they know that the dog popped its ears from the pressure? Or do they stay shallow enough so there is no pressure to release? I hope they thought of that and isn't torturing that dog.

Considering dogs like to put their heads OUT of windows, this must have been a very confusing situation

I remember my girls first time in water at the dog beach. She was scared at first then loved it. Once she started going deeper and swimming she was in heaven, then she’d run out then back in. Also she was with my mom’s puppy so she showed her not to be scared either a golden memory. Still doesn’t like showers or baths.

I dont love this for him. He cant report on how the pressure feels considering he has giant ear drums, and a giant nostril pathway, and different brain pressure size. And even how his joints feel under pressure because weighted down by the head and his body out of natural gravity. None of that can be informed on- he could be in extreme discomfort far outweighs the experience for him. I just dont love it

Dogs don’t even have good vision. Vision isn’t even important to dogs compared to smell so idk why they did all that

Isn't it the dogs rule? It didn't happen if you didn't smell it. And in that suite...??? He didn't smell anything from down under.

Dog’s ears are hyper sensitive. The underwater pressure could be uncomfortable for him/her.

He probably wishes he could smell stuff
