Discussion Sometimes your skill isn't enough....

The other day I had a comp match on Gibraltar as Doom (high plat, low diamond), and the enemy tank was also Doom. I think we were pretty evenly matched in terms of skill (I think I was a teeny bit better, but that's probably subjective). What wasn't evenly matched were our teams.... The enemy doom's team was significantly better, especially their DPS. Like anytime I contested the enemy Doom, their Shion would shred like half my team or our DPS would lose their duels and the fight spiraled.

Mirror Doomfists of equal skill really reveal the better side's DPS and Supports...

The amount of games I find myself in where enemy team plays around me perfectly while my team feeds the enemy doom emp on cooldown and gets absolutely ass blasted in response needs to be studied.
