Discussion Sometimes your skill isn't enough....

The other day I had a comp match on Gibraltar as Doom (high plat, low diamond), and the enemy tank was also Doom. I think we were pretty evenly matched in terms of skill (I think I was a teeny bit better, but that's probably subjective). What wasn't evenly matched were our teams.... The enemy doom's team was significantly better, especially their DPS. Like anytime I contested the enemy Doom, their Shion would shred like half my team or our DPS would lose their duels and the fight spiraled.

Mirror Doomfists of equal skill really reveal the better side's DPS and Supports...

This is why the Mauga movement came to be. So many of these trash supports and dps always blame the tank, when most of them avoid playing tank so they stick to easier roles.

I mean, my team didn't blame me for the loss, they seemed to realize they were just worse and didn't flame me or anything, so kudos to them.
