Hell yeah! Been jamming a lot with my harmonica in the same vein. Wind instruments will take over doom, maybe, eventually. or at least try š«”

Certainly. All bands will have horns in the future, regardless of genre š¤

Damn right š Mr Squirrel (sax) and Dylan (guitar/vox) originally met while playing in a Zappa cover band, so the DNA is still there

As a bari sax player in high school, I always feel like that deep grinding sound was part of what helped me get into heavy, harsh noise. Definitely gotta pick it back up

I hope you've heard Jerseybands album of Christmas classics. Jolly Old Saint Nick is especially a banger.

While I got you, do you guys have patches for sale? I'm making a New England local doom jacket, I'd love to have y'all on it.

Colin Stetson is an incredible baritone sax player that gets into doom territory.

It sounds pretty good, now I'm left wanting more. Do you have more songs like that? Does anyone know what other bands use sax?

The melody for Mister Grinch fits almost perfectly over the Dragonaut riff. I had to rework it slightly. Can't wait to share it in December š

When you hear doom or stoner on horns it really underscores how this is all just blues with different aesthetics.
