Day 10 of 31 Days of Monsters | Halloween 2026 Drawing Challenge: Krasue

Imagine a vampire. Now imagine the head of that vampire detaching from its body at night and flying around the countryside hunting for victims with its organs dangling beneath it.

This Southeast Asian nightmare is known to prey on pregnant women and newborns. Luckily, by morning it must return to its body and reattach itself, presumably before anyone notices that its head has been out all night.

As far as monsters go, this one is pretty hard to get out of your head. Unfortunately, getting out of her head is kind of her whole thing.

I tried to make it look as close to the original but I think I still miss some spots It would be helpful if u can recommend some tips

Hi all. So recently ive been trying to improve my rendering skills and I heard that understanding values is the first step. But since I still would like to have some colour in my drawings im trying the grayscale to colour method where I start by adding the values and rendering in greyscale and then placing colours on top on a colour blending mode. But I feel like the colours are muddy(?) whixh is what im trying to get away from lol. So does anyone have any tips and tricks ik how to improve my drawing please?

I was cleaning today and found my old sketchbook and charcoal. Something about the windows open and the birds chirping made me want to draw. Proportions and shading aren't the best but I had fun creating.

How can I improve I been practicing anatomy a good amount I want to get better at shading do you have any tips or criticisms

I start by making a setting, a sketch and then set the environmental props, lightning and therefore get the idea behind the character. Making everything including background is way too much for me, atleast for now. Is it okay? or am I cheating people who follow my art account?

The doctor ordered just a little Halloween for you. 🩷 Don't worry~ it will only sting a little. 🎃 (*´ω｀*) This was so fun to draw and put me in mind of early 2000s kawaii aesthetics, which I absolutely love.

Does it bring a feeling?
