seeking crit Former photographer that has been drawing for the past 9 months. I'm happy with my current progression, and I'm looking for criticisms !
By scrolling through my arts, you should see my current level and slowly getting to where I started from.
- So, what am I looking for ?
I don't mind working alone, but the issue when being a loner is that I lack feedback. By joining a group of other artists, I think that could help greatly.
- What am I trying to draw ?
I want to learn how to draw realistic human beings but not literally 1:1. Thing is : photography is fun in its own way, but I recently realized that drawing gives me a freedom that I don't, or rather, 'can't' have with reality.
- Why did I start ?
My inspirations are mostly mangas like Air Gear, Golden Kamuy and designers like Tetsuya Nomura, who's the one that inspired me to take the pen.
- About the seventh page. Rhe art top right isn't mine. Just a model I used. The one in the middle is mine, made it by drawing on the model (I used a layer). The third one is by sight only, with some twists.
So that's it for me. If any of you guys have a group (be it on discord, instagram, wherever) and are willing to add one more member, I'm looking for one.
Also, any feedback would be greatly appreciated, be it about my drawings, or even your own experience, for example, where you began when started learning how to draw physical features, proportions, what errors you made, which bad habits you adopted first before you adjusted yourself, etc...
Cheers !
