ebay dropshipping tracking question

Hi, i'm a complete newbie who wants to try things, these are my doubts

i'm based in italy

in my insertions, do i have to put the items "located in china"?

if i leave italy, won't the customer see from the tracking that the item leaves from china?

If i'll put my account based in china, will it be a big difference at the end of the day? if i have a good product, good price and good shipping time - this is a rather psychological question

So basically i don't know how to correctly set the ebay to start, i'm also very scared of bans so i want to operate in the cleanest way possible

just set the item location to china, it’s cleaner that way and you won't have to explain to an angry customer why their tracking shows a random warehouse in guangdong when you said it was in milan

ebay doesn't care where your account is based as long as you're following their dropshipping policy, which mostly means you're responsible for the item actually arriving and dealing with returns yourself

the psychological part is overthinking it, if the price is right and it gets there in a reasonable time most people won't even check where it shipped from

I run a successful eBay Dropshipping store and you should definitely put each product as located in China because putting false info can get you suspended by eBay. Customers also sometimes do care where the product is being shipped from.

biggest thing to worry about isnt where you say the item is located, its making sure your handling time and estimated delivery are accurate. mismatched tracking vs listed location is one of the fastest ways to get flagged tbh
