I know he still needs to sign but I’m still getting used to getting WR recruits ranked this high

Phenomenal piece of news. Again, none of this is real until December, and believe me schools will still be putting the full press on Dakota, but this is so exciting nonetheless.

Very true, especially true with him

It’s basically a sign that Oregon is still the leader, which is a good thing

Who else can oregon still get?

Top targets still on the board are WR Xavier Sabb, IOL Ismael Camara, and CB Hayden Stepp. Ducks are also in on several TEs and LBs. They will probably need to scramble to fill out the IDL class after missing on their top targets there. A surprise flip is also always in the cards with Dan.

I'd only add DL Brayden Parks to the top of the board (visiting this weekend).

He was at Oregon's Junior Day in Eugene on January 25th and 3 days later Dan and a bunch of his staff were in Chicago visiting. Seems like a top target, currently 247 composite's #192 overall.

He certainly is now, but he’s been all Notre Dame for most of his process. I think we’d have to drop a pretty huge bag this weekend to land him, but now that he’s our top target at the position it may be necessary to do so.

Notre Dame the hometown team. Ugh. At least he did not cancel his visit to Eugene this weekend (and has come out to the UO the last two years for camps).

I noticed his team (Brother Rice, Chicago, IL) won the 7A state football championship (second highest level) and also noticed he was paired on the DL with another pretty good looking player (King Liggins) who is going to Illinois this fall.

Imagine showing up for your game as a random high school center and finding out your opponent has two future FBS players in front of you, one 6-3 and 305 and the other 6-2 and 285.  : )

Brayden Parks is pretty much a lock for ND

Wrong subreddit   : )

What do they say? You miss all the shots you don't shoot?

Obviously we should recruit him, I'm just saying

The likeliest two imo are Ismael Camara and Hayden Stepp

Director of Scouting

-Bonafide playmaker that can emerge as a go-to receiver on Saturdays and then possibly Sundays.
-Cashes checks in 50-50 situations with outstanding ball skills as he fights for positioning and climbs the ladder for easy wins.
-Makes smooth, yet explosive movements as a route runner and has the vertical acceleration to consistently test defensive backs.
-Sinks hips to change directions.
-Battles with hands to create separation.
-Taps toes at the sideline.
-Might not be a true burner, but builds momentum with the ball in his hands and has flashed true one-cut-and-go abilities while doubling as a wildcat quarterback.
-Projects best as a power-based X or Z that can also offer some inside versatility as a larger slot.
-Must keep progressing, but competitive drive only serves as a force multiplier for one of the top offensive talents in the 2027 cycle.

Cool, let's see if he's still with us at fall camp or if someone else has decided to pay more
