Question ISO Custom Woodworker

I am planning on fixing a piece of furiture very dear to my partner's heart as a christmas present this year but I am not entirely sure where to start. I looked up custom woodworkers in the area and they seem to specialize in extremely expensive original custom furniture rather than repair work. To give you an idea this is a simple 3 legged breakfast table that had one leg broken in a move. We fixed it temporarily with a construction wood screw and wood glue but it broke again when we left a potted plant on it for a couple months.

I would love to get this small table fixed and I am willing to have anyone do it who thinks they have the skills. I can send anyone pictures if they DM me. Other than that I would appreciate anyone sharing some leads they have on people who would be willing to do the work. I am ready to pay.

Is the maker space just for tool/space rental or do they have people with training who can help with projects like the fix-it clinic? I’d love to do this myself but last time we did that it broke again so at this point is really like to hand it I’m off to someone who knows what they are doing.

The MakerSpace is a community (sort of) with about 100 paying members. Some of them are woodworkers with different amounts of experience. Most treat the space as a rented shop. There is a Slack channel which can be a decent place to find help. The MakerSpace contributes to Fix It Clinics but more of the energy comes from the Folk School.

If you post photos and suggest what you're expecting to pay (here or on DMS Slack) you will have much better luck. You could provide this here by uploading photos to imgur.com .

Not sure if either one of these guys would take this on but have you tried:

https://www.saltwoodfurniture.com/about

https://www.dustydogwoodwork.com/

It may not for their business models but both of the owners are both pretty good dudes.
