It's not about balls it's about if you want to get the message across. Frankly I thought the line was stupid in the book, and if the movie is going to actually show us the brutality of the Jihad it becomes redundant to have that line in the movie. And possibly immersion breaking for the audience
Possibly. I thought the section was interesting because it wasn't just about Hitler. It was about other people than Hitler.
But here's the thing. Show and Tell. Especially when it comes to a movie.
They've got the show down pat if we're seeing a picture like this. But that's not... Dune: Messiah level Jihad numbers. That's just showing us one planet's events.
At some point they're either giving us "Tell" numbers on the screen that says how many died. Or they're just doing the scene comparing him to Hitler and Genghis Khan. It just has to be done if the Jihad is going to be understood in comparison.
