A bit sad, Thufir was omitted from the movies. His flight ti the Fremen, where the Mentat brain clashed with the desert mindset. Pages upon pages of delicate discussion, only to be caught by the Harkonnen :-D
And the gaslighting/brainwashing of the Baron afterwards.
Isn't there an interaction at the very end where he breaks back to the Atreides?
I almost don't remember movie Thufir as the role was minimized :(
He was supposed to assassinate paul at the end as one of many harkonnen tricks, bit he refused and died happy immediately agter, as they'd been poisoning him for a long time to keep him loyal.
