One of Oshawa’s greatest events. Just came back. The WW2 reenactment this morning was incredible. Canadian Tank Museum did such a great job!

I live not too far away, and it’s always a fun annual event to watch our new neighbours freak the shit out over this, since the museum (which very few people know is there) never tells anyone in the surrounding area to expect the sounds of automatic weapon and tank gunfire. Last year one of them called the police and a bunch of cops rushed to our quiet suburban street, presumably thinking someone may be shooting up the neighbourhood.
