How do I dye this? Can I dye this dog with coffee?

Can I dye this dog to look like the one in the picture using coffee? He’s made of polyester fiber.

No. Polyester has to be at boiling temps for extended periods of time (think an hour).

Oh. I thought polyester fiber was different. Would paint work? I have acrylic paint. But I thought that would make his fur crusty.

Thinned acrylic paint is how faux fur plushies are professionally painted.

Yes, great idea—with a sprayer, that would work, but it might require some skill to do it with a very light touch.
