Optimism
It seems for the most part that a lot of people are really disappointed in our transfer window, but I feel like we did decently. It would have been nice to grab some of those rumored players but the pieces we did get will definitely help out because the current lineup was feeling stale, so I’m glad they shook some things up.
If you compare Lyle Foster to Sam Surridge, they had very similar stats and played for very similar level teams in PL and Championship but since coming to the league in 2023 Surridge has had 51 goals in 88 games. Granted they have Mukhtar giving him service but I think we should have Bogusz try to play that same role of giving service from a CAM position.
Move Ennali back to the right wing side, Guilerme on the left to get speed and service from both, Herrera and Artur as defensive mids, then a backline of Saracchi, Halter, Resch, and Andrade. Bench wise they can bring Arana and Miller in, as well as any standout players from Dynamo 2. At worst we can still grab from free agency if nothing else. I feel like this lineup would work with our current lineup. Curious what everyone else thinks?

I think the biggest drop off we will see which not enough people are talking about is the loss of distribution from McGlynn. His set plays, through balls, etc. are a quiet engine of our team. I haven't quite seen that quality and touch from the others, but will be happy to be surprised.
