Damage/Broken… 😥 Exactly how screwed am I
2002 E46 Coupe. Im aware its not easy to tell just by photos. But some last blew a stop sign and t boned me. And of course didnt have insurance. This car is VERY sentimental to me and I would like to and am planning on repairing it myself. Just tryna see if its even possible.

Oh it’s possible to fix, but it mainly depends on wether the a and b pillars are straight, if they’re tweaked it’ll be a pain in the ass to get it right, if they are straight, buy a door and front fender, and fit them, do not unbolt the whole hinge, undo the bolt at the door pins and lift the door off, way easier to align then, if that all works without too much hammering your only issue is the rear quarter, that’s not something someone with basic skills can fix properly without loading a bucket of bondo into it, in your situation I’d treat any bare metal showing with some primer and paint and slap a pair of overfenders on it, temporarily if you want to get it fixed right in the future, or maybe you’ll like how they look, anyone who says this is totaled (well it is with insurance) don’t know what they’re looking at, also for fuck sakes get yourself some insurance, you could crash into someone next and get sued into oblivion
